The data tree provides two ways to display the data:

Classic View (see
below): Data is arranged by data type: Experiment,
Cell Intensity, Analysis Results, and FileSet

To switch between the views:
• Right-click anywhere in the data tree and select the appropriate
option from the menu.
Classic View
The Classic view displays the data organized by data type:
• Experiment data (files with .exp extension)
• Intensity data (files with .cel extension)
• Analysis Results data (files with .chp extension)
• FileSets (groups of files with .gfs extension)
Project View
Project view sorts the information that can be viewed and analyzed by
GTYPE into a hierarchical set of categories:
• Projects: collection of samples
• Sample: collection of experiments
• Experiment: Information about the experiment, sample, and array
type. The experiment name provides the default name for the data
types that are subsequently generated in the analysis.
