Attributes include information like:
• Sample ID
• Family ID
• Father ID
• Mother ID
• Gender
• Disease State
To create an attribute for a template, you define:
• Attribute name
• Attribute Type
- String
- Integer
- Float
- Controlled
- Date
- Time
• Whether the attribute is required to register a sample
• The values that can be used for a controlled attribute
The following templates are provided with GCOS and GTYPE:
• MIAME
• Pedigree
