To import and use attributes you must first:
• Set up a sample template with attributes for pedigree data in GCOS Manager.
• Use this template when registering the mapping samples and experiments in
GCOS.
• Create a text file with the attribute information in the proper format.
1. To open the AttributeImporter Tool window, click
the AttributeImporter Tool shortcut bar button.
2. Select the text file with the
attributes for import.
3. Edit the attribute names to assign
the pedigree data to the correct
sample attribute, if necessary.
4. Set other options for the import.
5. Import the data.
