D is the distance between the tested allele call medoid and the
sample's sense and antisense RAS values.
R is the distance between the tested allele call medoid and the
nearest alternate allele call medoid, divided by 2, as follows:
- For the AA medoid, 2R is the distance from AA to AB
- For the BB medoid, 2R is the distance from AB to BB
- For the AB medoid, 2R is the shorter of the distances from AB
to BB or AA to AB
