Troubleshooting

Problem
The prepared meal is
half-raw.
The prepared meal is burnt. There is dirt underneath the pan.
The appliance boils over.
LED does not light up.
The hotplate does not
function.
Water is flowing out of the
appliance.
The pressure locking handle
of the appliance cannot be
opened.
Steam constantly escapes
from the steam outlet, even
though the steam pressure
function is switched on.

Cause
Filled beyond capacity.
The ratio of the amount of water
and the ingredients is incorrect.
Foreign objects in the appliance
interior.
The pan is deformed.
Fault in the appliance.

The temperature is too high.
The selected preparation
programme requires the meal to be
cooked with the lid open.

Remedy
Do not fill the pan beyond the marking
[ 4.0 litres ]!
Adjust the ratio of the amount of water
and the ingredients.
Remove all foreign objects. Do not use
any water for this purpose!
Contact customer service.
Thoroughly clean the pan and the
appliance interior.
Contact customer service.
Adjust the amount.
Reduce the temperature.
Open the lid of the appliance.
Switch on the appliance.
Contact customer service.
Contact customer service.
Remove water from condensation tank.
Remove the pan and use a cloth to rub
the appliance interior dry. Ensure that no
water enters the appliance interior.
Proceed as described in chapter
X "Release steam manually" see
page 16. If the problem persists,
contact customer service.
Disconnect the appliance from the power
supply and allow to cool down. Remove
the steam outlet and place the valve plug
properly on the valve.
Wait until the steam has been released
completely or release steam manually.
Open pressure locking handle (M) to
deactivate the steam pressure function.
Close the pressure locking handle (N)
to activate the steam pressure function.
