SEDIMENTOR SENSOR
Inspection
1. Remove the sedimentor sensor from the sedimentor.
2. Connect an ohmmeter to the sedimentor sensor.
3. Verify that there is continuity when the float is up.
4. Replace the sedimentor sensor if not as specified.
COOLANT LEVEL SENSOR
Inspection
1. Remove the level sensor and reconnect the connector.
2. With the sensor not grounded to the body, start the engine.
3. After checking that the warning lamp illuminates, ground
the threaded part of the sensor.
4. If the warning lamp remains illuminated. the sensor is normal.
If it does not, the sensor is faulty and should be replaced.
