2. Use an ohmmeter to check the resistance between each
slip rings.
Resistance: 2.5-3.50 (20°C (6S°F»
Brushes
1. If the brushes are worn almost to or beyond the limit, re-
place them.
Minimum: Smm (0.31 in)
2. When install new brush, pull lead wire to put brush into ap-
prox. 5mm (0.2 in) holder and install with soldering iron.
Caution
• Replace both brushes in the same time.
Rectifier
1. Check for continuity of the diodes
by
using an ohmmeter.
