WINDSHIELD WIPER AND WASHER

1. Disassemble in the order shown in the figure.
2. Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.

2. Brush holder plate
3. Motor assembly
Inspection
Continuity
1. Remove the blower motor.
2. Disconnect the wiper motor connector.
3. Check continuity between terminals.

4. If not as specified, replace the wiper motor.

• Connect the negative battery terminal to the motor
ground wire
if checking out
of the vehicle.
1. Disconnect the wiper motor connector.
2. Verify motor operation when appling 12V to the terminals
of the motor connector.

Motor operation
(UW) wire Rotates at low speed
(UR) wire
Rotates at high speed
3. If not as specified, replace the wiper motor.
