Operation
Performing Paging External Pagers
1. Lift the handset.
2. Dial the feature number for
"External Paging."
3. Dial the number for specifying an
external pager or pagers: 0, 1 or
2.
0: specifies external pagers 1
and 2
1: specifies external pager 1
2: specifies external pager 2
• After you hear confirmation tone
3, start paging through the
external pager(s).
4. After paging, replace the
handset.
Answering during external paging
1. Lift the handset.
2. Dial the feature number for
"External Paging Answer."
3. Dial the number of the external
pager: 1 or 2.
• After you hear confirmation tone
3, talk to the caller who made
the page.
Transferring a call using Paging External Pagers
During a conversation with an extension or an
outside party
1. Press the switchhook for
approximately one half second
and release.
• The other party is placed on

"External Paging" and external
pager specifying number : 0, 1
or 2.
• You hear confirmation tone 3.
3. Start paging.
4. When an extension answers,
replace the handset.
• The held party and the paged
