21 SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

▶ Before start-up, ensure that the operating personnel are familiar with and completely understand the contents
of the operating instructions.
▶ Observe the safety instructions and intended use.
▶ Only adequately trained personnel may start up the equipment/the device.
22 BASIC SETTING OF THE DEVICE
The following settings must be made for the basic setting of Type 8692/8693:
1. Enter the operating mode of the valve actuator. (see chapter "22.1")
ACTUATOR
The operating mode of the actuator has been preset in the factory.
2. Selection of the input signal (see chapter "22.2").
INPUT
3. Automatic self-parameterization of the position controller (see chapter "22.3")
X.TUNE
Generally not required for the initial start-up!
