11.8.1 Troubleshooting checklist

No power on MCM-400 HFR
Situation
Power cord not plugged.
LED on power supply OFF.
LED on power supply ON.
The MCM-400 HFR went back to its standby state
Situation
Internal or external temperature is out of range.
Humidity is out of range.
The altitude is very high.
No image appears on the display.
Situation
No source is selected.
No source signal can be found.
MCM-400 HFR is in standby state.
No image at the output
Artefacts are visible on the display.
Situation
Noise
The image on the display is poor.
Situation
Bad soft edge
Bad brightness or contrast
No control
Situation
No RCU control

Solution
Plug in the power cord.
Check power cord.
1.
Check the connection between the power supply and the
MCM-400 HFR.
2.
Check the fuse in the device.
Solution
-
If the internal temperature is out of range, clean the air
grids.
-
If the external temperature is out of range, cool down
the room.
Decrease the humidity in the room.
Solution
Select a source via the OSD.
1.
Check if the projector is operational.
2.
Check if the MCM-400 HFR output mode and the projector
input mode are matching.
Switch to active state.
Check the network connection between the MCM-400 HFR and
the projector.
Solution
1.
Check the IG.
2.
Check the cabling and connections.
Solution
In case of electronic soft edge, switch ON the soft edge.
Adjust the brightness/contrast.
Solution
1.
Remove blocking objects.
2.
Program the correct address.
3.
Insert new batteries.
