10.2.7 The Soft Edge edit dialog

The Soft Edge edit dialog
In the Soft Edge selection menu, click Adjust to display the semitransparent Soft Edge edit dialog.
This Soft Edge edit dialog acts as an intuitive user interface to perform all Soft Edge adjustments on the fly. Each individual anchor
point can be selected and moved to the desired location in real time.
The table below explains every item in the Soft Edge edit dialog.

Description
Indicates the edge of the active anchor
point.
Indicates the level of the active anchor
point.
Indicates the active anchor point.
Indicate the X and Y coordinate of the
active anchor point.

Explains the controls in Change mode.
Notes
The active anchor point is indicates by a
red square.
In table front mode, the left top corner of
the image is the coordinate system origin.
Positive values are right and down.
In Select mode, you can select an edge
(or side), a level or an anchor point. The
levels that can be selected are limited
by the Hierarchy level setting in the Soft
Edge selection dialog.
In Adjust mode, the selected anchor point
can be moved using the arrow keys on
the RCU.
In Edit mode, the edit box of Position X or
Position Y can be enabled.
In Change mode, the value in the enabled
Position edit box can be changed.
