Performing a software update

Utilities > Advanced > Software Update
Prerequisites
You have exported the database as a backup.

You have downloaded the most recent software update for EasyOne Pro/

LAB from the ndd website, and you have copied the software update to a
USB flash drive.
Or you have received a USB flash drive from ndd that contains the

software update.

The software update is delivered as a ZIP file. Do not unzip this file on a PC.
The file will automatically be unzipped on EasyOne Pro/LAB.
 To perform a software update
1 On the back of EasyOne Pro/LAB, connect the USB flash drive to a USB port.
2 Choose Utilities > Advanced.
 You are prompted for the default password.
3 Enter the default password.
 The default password is: 8005
4 Choose Software Update.
5 Select the software update on the USB flash drive and follow the on-screen
instructions.
 After the software update has been complete, EasyOne Pro/LAB shuts
down.
6 Turn EasyOne Pro/LAB on again.
 Usually the configuration database and the patient database are
updated during the restart.
 A dialog to confirm the database update is displayed.
7 If a dialog about a database update is displayed, confirm the dialog.
 Be aware that updating the database can take up to one hour.
 To verify the software update
1 In the menu bar at the bottom of the screen, check whether the sensor icon
is displayed.
2 Choose Utilities > Configuration > General > Header > About
whether the running software version is the version that you intended to
update to.
