Test Procedure
You can configure whether the motor and valve unit closes automatically or
manually. If you have activated manual close, you need to choose the button
Close to close the motor and valve unit during the DLCO test.
To configure that the motor and valve unit closes manually, select the check
box Activate Manual Close.
Simulator Test-Gas
For the DLCO calibration check, you can use a DLCO simulator. The DLCO
simulator requires a test gas mixture with a higher accuracy.
Enter the test gas concentrations as specified on the gas cylinders into the
fields CO and O . The test gas concentrations must be within the range

indicated in parentheses.
Volumes
Enter physiological dead space volumes that are used for the DLCO test into
the fields Anatomic Dead Space

The manufacturer strongly recommends that you select the
Volume check box to automatically determine the discard volume.
