Disabling ND Entry Timeout

When a peer system warmboots or performs an ISSU, the ND entries in the local system may time out resulting in traffic loss. You can
configure the system to keep the learnt neighbor discovery entries stateless so that the ND entries do not time out. To configure the
system to keep the learnt neighbor discovery entries stateless, follow these steps:
Disable the ND timer:
INTERFACE
ipv6 nd disable-reachable-timer
To reenable the ND timer, use the no form of the command:
INTERFACE
no ipv6 nd disable-reachable-timer
The following example shows how to disable the ND timer.
Dell(conf-if-fo-1/1/1)#ipv6 nd disable-reachable-timer
