Split 40G Ports on a 16X40G QSFP+ Module

You can only split the 40G ports in the top row (odd numbered ports) on a 16X40G module. If you configure 4X10G on a 40G interface, the
subsequent even numbered interface is removed and unavailable for use.
The following example shows the interface status before splitting a 40G interface:
Dell# show interfaces status

The following example shows that when you split an interface on a 16X40G module, the subsequent even numbered interface is removed
from the configuration.
Dell(conf)# stack-unit [stack-unit number] module [module number] port [port number] portmode
quad speed 10G
Warning: Enabling Quad mode on stack-unit 1 module 3 port 1. Please verify whether the configs
related to interface Fo 1/3/1 Fo 1/3/2
[confirm yes/no]:y
Quad mode is enabled on stack-unit 1 module 3 port 1
The interface on stack-unit 1 slot 3 port 2 has been removed
