All StrongArmPark DC operators are shipped from the factory in a left handing configuration unless specified
otherwise. If you need to change the StrongArmPark DC14 handing at the site, you will need to:
Release spring tension
Swap locations of the spring's eyebolt
and spacer on the physical stop lever
Retention the spring
NOTE: If changing the handing on StrongArmPark DC10,
follow steps 1 and 10.

Remove the front access panel. (Keys come with

the operator.)
Use a phillips head screwdriver to remove the
plastic cover from the control box.

If the drive belt cover is in place, use a phillips

head screwdriver to remove two screws that
secure it to the motor plate. Set the drive belt
cover and fasteners aside.

Using a ½-inch socket wrench, remove four
3
fasteners securing the physical stop bracket.
(Do NOT break the wire connections.) Hang the
bracket from the side of the chassis, as shown.
CAUTION
Wires are attached
to the physical stop
bracket. Do NOT sever
the wires or hang the
bracket by the wires.

Remove the drive belt. Use a >\zn-inch socket
4
wrench to loosen (do NOT remove) the 4 bolts
securing the motor to the motor plate.
CAUTION

to the motor!
• Disconnect the 2 motor
wire leads from the
wire harness inside the
chassis.
• Disconnect the blue
connector wire from the
Smart DC Controller
and pull it out of the
control box.

Loosen, DO NOT remove, 4 bolts
on motor cover plate

Nylon bolts for
breakaway bracket
Remove 4 bolts and lift the motor plate
assembly from the chassis. Set it aside.
