REAR SUSPENSION (DOUBLE-WISHBONE)
LOWER ARM
Removal/Inspection /Installation
1. Jack up the rear of the vehicle and support it with safety stands.
2. Remove in the order shown in the figure, referring to Removal Note.
3. Inspect all parts and repair or replace as necessary.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

• Loosely tighten the lower arm, shock absorber, and stabili2:er control link bolts. Lower the
vehicle and tighten all nuts and bolts to the specified torques with the vehicle unladed.
5. Adjust the rear wheel alignment. (Refer to page R-9.)

3. Shock absorber bolt
4. Lower arm
I nspect for damage and cracks
(crossmember side and knuckle side)
Inspect for deterioration and wear
