played and the (KEY)
annunciation will shift to
the identifier line. (Figure

Auto Tune Method

Certain control heads will require placement in the Remote Mode at
the control head in order to recognize the tuning data from the GNS-
X
. Only NAV/DME radios may be placed in the AUTO TUNE
LS
mode.
DME HOLD, Manual Control
Head Tuning, Keyboard
Tuning or use of the
AUTO/MAN Switch will take
the GNS-X
out of the
LS
Auto/Tune Mode.

TUNE Key - DEPRESS
to display the NAV
TUNE Page.

FREQ field of NAV 1 or
