ELECTRIC STARTER
TROUBLESHOOTING
Starter motor does not turn
Check for blown main or sub fuses before servicing.
Make sure the battery is fully charged and in good condition.
Check the starter relay switch operation.
You should hear the relay "click" when the
"Click"
not heard
Disconnect the starter relay switch connector,
and check the relay coil ground wire lines as
below for continuity:
tral switch line (with the transmission in neu-
tral and clutch lever released).
2. GreeniRed terminal/clutch switch-side stand
switch line ( i n any gear except neutral, and
w i t h the clutch lever pulled i n and the side
stand up.
