Alternator Cover Installation - Honda 954 Service Manual

Hold the flywheel using the flywheel holder, then
tighten the bolt t o the specified torque.
TOOL:
Flywheel holder
TORQUE: 103 N-m (10.5 kgf-m, 76 Ibf*ft)
Apply molybdenum disulfide oil to the starter
gear shaft.
Apply oil t o the starter idle gear.
Install t h e starter idle gear and shaft o n t o
crankcase.

ALTERNATOR COVER INSTALLATION

Apply sealant t o the mating surface of the crankcase
as shown.
Install the dowel pin and new gasket.
