EGCV AND AIR INTAKE VALVE SERVO
MOTOR
REMOVAL
Remove the fuel tank (page 5-59).
Disconnect the servo motor 6P (Natural) connector.
Remove the servo motor mounting bolt and pull out
the servo motor from the bracket.
Disconnect the intake air valve and EGCV control
cables f r o m the servo motor pulley, then remove the
servo motor.
INSPECTION
Connect the 12 V battery t o the servo motor 6P
(Natural) connector terminals and check that the
motor operation.
Connection: Red
If the servo motor does not turn, replace the servo
motor w i t h a new one.
