REAR WHEEL

REMOVAL
Support the motorcycle using a safety stand o r hoist,
raise the rear wheel off the ground.
Adjust the drive chain slack fully (page 3-20).
Remove the axle nut and drive chain adjusting plate.
Push the rear wheel forward.

Axle
Place the axle in V-blocks and measure the runout.
Actual runout is 1/2 the total indicator reading.
