Measure the starter relay voltage at the
starter relay connectors (between Y/B
and B/W ) when the starter button is
pushed.

Remove the exhaust pipe. (
Remove the regulator/rectifier mounting bolt and clutch cable
guide mounting bolt.
Disconnect the starter motor lead wire.
Remove the starter motor.
