Lea con cuidado pág. 4 (NORMAS GENERALES DE
SEGURIDAD).
Coloque el vehículo sobre el caballete central.

PELIGRO
Ponga un soporte adecuado por debajo del vehículo
para impedir que caiga.
Desmonte la rueda delantera, véase pág. 107 (RUEDA
DELANTERA - DESMONTAJE).
Desmonte el escudo delantero interior, véase pág. 43
(DESMONTAJE ESCUDO DELANTERO INTERIOR).
Afloje el tornillo (6) de la tija.
Levante, extrayéndola, la barra horquilla lo suficiente
para poder sacar el anillo elástico de seguridad (7).
Extraiga del todo, bajándola, la barra horquilla equipa-
da con botella.

SEGURIDAD).
Para el desmontaje de las piezas: tapón de goma (1),
anillo elástico de seguridad (arandela Seeger) (2), ta-
pón estanco (3) equipado con aro tórico (4) y muelle
(5); realice, en la botella que se quiere desmontar, las
operaciones de pág. 139 (CONTROL NIVEL ACEITE
HORQUILLA), omitiendo las últimas dos (de control ni-
vel aceite).

ATENCION
Peligro de salida aceite.
El grupo botella está cargado de aceite. Durante el
desmontaje, ponga cuidado en que no se vuelva ni se
incline de manera excesiva.
Desmonte el grupo botella, véase pág. 141 (DESMON-
TAJE GRUPO BOTELLA (con horquilla instalada)).
Coloque un recipiente graduado con capacidad no in-
ferior a 300 cm .

Introduzca del todo la barra en la botella, gire el grupo
botella y descargue el aceite en el recipiente.

ATENCION
Controle la cantidad de aceite.
Si es inferior a 103 cm , rellene o sustituya.

Destornille y quite el tornillo (8) (fondo botella) y recu-
pere la arandela de cobre (9).
Extraiga la barra (10) equipada con el elemento de
bombeo (11).
Recupere, girando la botella (12), el tampón de fondo
(13) y el contramuelle (14).
Saque el guardapolvo (15).
Saque el anillo elástico de seguridad (arandela See-
ger) (16).

ATENCION
Durante la instalación coloque el anillo elástico de se-
guridad (arandela Seeger) (16) con la arista viva en el
tope (véase figura).
Saque la junta estanca (17).

Position the vehicle on the centre stand.

Put a proper support under the vehicle, in order to
prevent it from falling down.
Remove the front wheel, see p. 107 (FRONT WHEEL
- DISASSEMBLY).
Remove the front inner shield, see p. 43 (REMOVING
THE FRONT INNER SHIELD).
Loosen the screw (6) of the plate clamp.
Lift the fork tube, withdrawing it as much as necessary
to remove the snap ring (7).
Lower the fork tube together with the wheel-holder and
withdraw it completely.

Carefully read p. 7 (GENERAL SAFETY RULES).
To disassemble the rubber plug (1), the retaining ring
(seeger) (2), the seal plug (3) complete with O-ring (4)
and the spring (5), carry out the operations described
at p. 139 (CHECKING THE FORK OIL LEVEL), exclud-
ing the last two operations (oil level checking), on the
tube/wheel-holder that you want to disassemble.

The oil may flow out.
The tube/wheel-holder unit is full of oil.
Neither overturn, nor incline it excessively during the
removal.
Remove the tube/wheel-holder unit, see p. 141 (RE-
MOVING THE TUBE/WHEEL-HOLDER UNIT (with in-
stalled fork)).
Prepare a graduated container with at least 300 cm
capacity.
Make the tube slide into the wheel-holder completely,
rotate the tube/wheel-holder unit and drain the oil into
the container.

Check the oil quantity.
If it is less than 103 cm
Unscrew and remove the screw (8) (wheel-holder bot-
tom) and take the copper washer (9).
Withdraw the tube (10) complete with pumping element
(11).
Rotate the wheel-holder (12) and take the bottom buff-
er (13) and the counter-spring (14).
Remove the antidust gasket (15).
Remove the retaining ring (seeger) (16).

Upon reassembly, position the retaining ring (seeger)
(16) with its sharp edge resting against the adjacent
elements (see figure).
Remove the seal (17).
