IMPORTANTE
Los términos "derecha" e "izquierda"
se refieren al piloto sentado sobre el vehículo en la posi-
ción normal de conducción.
Es posible modificar la orientación horizontal de 1° a 4°
tanto a la derecha como a la izquierda.
Las figuras (B excluida) se refieren a la orientación hacia
la derecha. Los espesores y los tornillos de regulación se
suministran en el kit y están alojados en el vano portaca-
sco/portadocumentos.
Para la modificación, actúe del modo siguiente:
Desmonte la tapa escudo delantero, véase pág. 49
(DESMONTAJE TAPA ESCUDO DELANTERO).
Desmonte el escudo delantero interior, véase pág. 43
(DESMONTAJE ESCUDO DELANTERO INTERIOR).
Destornille y quite el tornillo (1).
Destornille y quite los tres tornillos (2).

ATENCION
Maneje con cuidado. No fuerce los cables eléctricos.
Desmonte parcialmente el faro delantero (3).
Existen cuatro grupos de espesores, para cuatro grados
de regulación diferentes.
Cada espesor se caracteriza por el nombre del tipo (p.ej.:
UPPER PIV.) y del grupo (p.ej.: 3°) (véase tabla).

Según el defecto de la orientación, elija:
– el grupo necesario para la regulación;
– la dirección de la orientación (derecha o izquierda).
IMPORTANTE
Utilice espesores y tornillos del mi-
smo grupo.
Introduzca los espesores en los alojamientos tornillos
faro según lo indicado en las figuras A y B:
– orientación hacia la derecha figura A;
– orientación hacia la izquierda figura B.
Coloque el faro delantero (3) en su alojamiento.
Atornille el tornillo (1) en la parte inferior izquierda.
IMPORTANTE
Sustituya los tornillos (2) con los tor-
nillos específicos para cada espesor.
Recupere los tornillos (2) y guárdelos con el kit.
Atornille los tres tornillos (específicos para cada espe-
sor) (véase tabla).
Apriete los cuatro tornillos.
Compruebe la correcta orientación horizontal del haz
luminoso.
Vuelva a instalar el escudo delantero interior, véase
pág. 43 (DESMONTAJE ESCUDO DELANTERO IN-
TERIOR).
Vuelva a instalar la tapa escudo delantero, véase pág.
49 (DESMONTAJE TAPA ESCUDO DELANTERO).
Compruebe la correcta orientación vertical del haz lu-
minoso.

NOTE
The terms "right" and "left" are referred to the ri-
der seated on the vehicle in the normal riding position.
It is possible to modify the horizontal position from 1° to 4°
both rightwards and leftwards.
The figures (B excluded) refer to the rightward position.
Shims and adjusting screws are supplied in kit and are
housed in the crash helmet / glove compartment.
To adjust the beam, proceed as follows:
Remove the front shield cover, see p. 49 (REMOVING
THE FRONT SHIELD COVER).
Remove the front inner shield, see p. 43 (REMOVING
THE FRONT INNER SHIELD).
Unscrew and remove the screw (1).
Unscrew and remove the three screws (2).

Handle with care. Do not force the electric wires.
Partially remove the headlight (3).
There are four groups of shims, for four different degrees
of adjustment.
Each shim is marked with the type identification code (for
example: UPPER PIV.) and with the group number (for
example: 3 ) (see table below).

According to the beam adjustment to be carried out, cho-
ose:
– the group necessary for the adjustment;
– the direction (to the right or to the left).
NOTE
Use shims and screws of the same group.
Insert the shims in the headlight screw seats as indicat-
ed in figures A and B:
– rightwards (figure A);
– leftwards (figure B).
Position the headlight (3) in its seat.
Tighten the lower left screw (1).
NOTE
Replace the screws (2) with the specific screws
corresponding to each shim.
Take the screws (2) and keep them in the kit.
Screw the three screws (specific for each shim) (see
table).
Tighten the four screws.
Make sure that the horizontal adjustment of the head-
light beam is correct.
Put back the front inner shield, see p. 43 (REMOVING
THE FRONT INNER SHIELD).
Put back the front shield cover, see p. 49 (REMOVING
THE FRONT SHIELD COVER).
Make sure that the vertical adjustment of the headlight
beam is correct.
