Desmonte el cubremanillar, véase pág. 47 (DESMON-
TAJE CUBREMANILLAR).

ATENCION
Peligro de salida del líquido de los frenos. No accione
la palanca freno si los tornillos (3) están flojos o, so-
bre todo, si se ha quitado la tapa del depósito del lí-
quido de los frenos.
Destornille y quite los dos tornillos (1).
Desmonte la tapa (2).

PELIGRO
Evite la exposición prolongada del líquido frenos al
aire.
El líquido frenos es higroscópico y en contacto con el
aire absorbe humedad, reduciendo la eficacia de
frenado.
Deje el depósito líquido frenos abierto SOLO durante
el tiempo necesario para efectuar el relleno.
IMPORTANTE
Mantenga el líquido en el depósito
paralelo al borde del depósito; de tal forma se evitan sali-
das peligrosas del líquido durante el relleno.
Quite la junta (3).
IMPORTANTE
Como referencia para alcanzar el ni-
vel "MAX", rellene hasta cubrir del todo el cristal (4), con
el borde del depósito del líquido de los frenos paralelo al
suelo.

ATENCION
Durante el relleno, no supere el nivel "MAX". El relle-
no hasta el nivel "MAX" debe efectuarse sólo con
pastillas nuevas.
El nivel del líquido disminuye progresivamente con el
desgaste de las pastillas.
Se recomienda que no rellene hasta el nivel "MAX"
con las pastillas desgastadas, para evitar la salida del
líquido en caso de sustitución pastillas freno.
Llene el depósito con líquido para frenos, véase
pág. 18 (TABLA LUBRICANTES), hasta cubrir del todo
el cristal.
Vuelva a colocar correctamente la junta (3) en su posi-
ción.
Vuelva a poner la tapa (2).
Atornille y apriete los dos tornillos (1).
Vuelva a instalar el cubremanillar.
Vuelva a instalar los retrovisores.

The brake fluid may flow out of the reservoir. Do not
operate the brake lever if the screws (3) are loose or,
most important, if the brake fluid tank cover has been
removed.
Unscrew the two screws (1).
Remove the cover (2).

Avoid any prolonged exposure of the brake fluid to
the air.
The brake fluid is hygroscopic and when in contact
with the air it absorbs moisture, which reduces the
braking efficiency.
Leave the brake fluid tank open ONLY for the time
necessary for topping up.
NOTE
In order not to spill the brake fluid while topping
up, keep the fluid in the reservoir parallel to the reservoir
rim.
Remove the gasket (3).
NOTE
In order to reach the "MAX" level, top up until
covering the glass (4) completely, with the brake fluid res-
ervoir rim parallel to the ground.

When topping up, never exceed the "MAX" level.
It is advisable to top up until reaching the "MAX" level
only with new pads.
When the disc pads wear out, the level of the fluid de-
creases progressively to compensate for their wear.
Do not reach the "MAX" level with worn out pads,
since this will cause a fluid outflow when the pads are
changed.
Fill the tank with brake fluid, see p. 19 (LUBRICANT
CHART), until it covers the glass completely.
Put back the gasket (3) in its seat correctly.
Put back the cover (2).
Screw and tighten the two screws (1).
Put back the handlebar cover.
Put back the rear-view mirrors.
