IMPORTANTE
Hay que engrasar el perno leva fre-
no trasero cada 4000 km.
Si se utiliza el vehículo en carreteras polvorientas, hay
que repetir la operación más frecuentemente.
Desmonte la rueda trasera, véase pág. 111 (RUEDA
TRASERA - DESMONTAJE).
Destornille y quite el tensor (1).

ATENCION
No ensucie las zapatas y sobre todo el material de
fricción con grasa para no perjudicar la eficacia de
frenado.

ATENCION
Esta operación puede presentarse difícil porque los
muelles (2) oponen una fuerte resistencia al desmon-
tar las zapatas.
Ponga cuidado en las manos y en los dedos para evi-
tar posibles aplastamientos o contusiones.
Evite tensar y torcer de manera excesiva los muelles
(2) porque podrían dañarse.
Desplace las zapatas (3) radialmente, tirando simulta-
neamente hacia sí hasta extraerlas de la leva y el pivo-
te.
Bloquee con un llave hexagonal el tornillo (4) y afloje la
tuerca (5).
Saque la palanca perno (6).
Extraiga el perno leva (7).

ATENCION
Engrase moderadamente sólo la parte central del per-
no.
Evite absolutamente que la grasa vaya a ensuciar la
leva o las zonas alrededor de la sede perno.
Engrase la parte central del perno utilizando grasa
para cinematismos, véase pág. 18 (TABLA LUBRI-
CANTES).
Durante la instalación:

ATENCION
No golpee ni fuerce el perno leva (7) con un martillo o
con cualquier otra herramienta para no dañar las dos
juntas tóricas.
Introduzca manualmente el perno leva (7), girándolo y
empujándolo moderadamente.
Vuelva a instalar los dos materiales de fricción (3) aco-
plando las extremidades llanas (8) al perno leva (7) y
las extremidades perfiladas (9) al perno fulcro (10).

Controle el correcto enganche de los muelles (2).

NOTE
If the vehicle is used on dusty roads, this operation must
be carried out more frequently.
Disassemble the rear wheel, see p. 111 (REAR
WHEEL - DISASSEMBLY).
Unscrew and remove the adjuster (1).
Do not dirt the shoes and the friction material with
grease, to avoid compromising the braking efficiency
of the vehicle.
This operation may be difficult because the springs
(2) resist considerably to the removal of the shoes. Be
careful not to crush or bruise your hands and fingers.
Avoid stretching and twisting the springs (2) exces-
sively, in order not to damage them.
Grasp the inner edge of the two friction elements (3) at
its centre and, pulling toward yourself, shake the two
shoes, thus releasing them.
Lock the screw (4) with an hexagon spanner and loos-
en the nut (5).
Remove the pin lever (6).
Withdraw the cam pin (7).
Moderately grease only the central part of the pin.
Avoid dirting the cam or the areas around the pin seat
with grease.
Grease the central part of the pin by using grease for
kinematic motions, see p. 19 (LUBRICANT CHART).
Upon reassembly:
Neither strike, nor force the cam pin (7) with ham-
mers or others tools, in order not to damage the two
O-rings.
Manually insert the cam pin (7), rotating and pushing it
slightly.
Put back the two friction elements (3), coupling the
plain ends (8) with the cam pin (7) and the shaped ends
(9) with the fulcrum pin (10).
Make sure that the springs (2) are correctly coupled.
