Lea con cuidado pág. 4 (NORMAS GENERALES DE
SEGURIDAD).
Coloque el vehículo sobre el caballete central.
Desmonte el colín, véase pág. 39 (DESMONTAJE CO-
LIN).
Desmonte las tapas de inspección, véase pág. 41
(DESMONTAJE TAPAS DE INSPECCION DERECHA
E IZQUIERDA).
Desmonte el vano portacasco, véase pág. 49 (DES-
MONTAJE VANO PORTACASCO equipado con sil-
lín).
Extraiga la pipeta bujía.
Desconecte los conectores eléctricos: del motor de
arranque (1) y del C.D.I. (2) y (3).
Abra lo suficiente el anillo (4) y libere los cables de los
conectores eléctricos (2) y (3).
Afloje el tornillo abrazadera colector de aspiración (5).

ATENCION
Lave con mucho cuidado las manos tras haber mane-
jado el aceite. No esparza el aceite en el ambiente.
Vacíe del todo el depósito aceite mezclador (6), véase
pág. 63 (DEPOSITO ACEITE MEZCLADOR - VACIA-
DO).
Desconecte el filtro (7) del depósito aceite mezclador
(6).

ATENCION
Durante la instalación, tras haber llenado el depósito,
purgue el aceite mezclador, véase pág. 65 (PURGA
ACEITE MEZCLADOR).
Desconecte el tubo de impulsión aceite mezclador del
carburador y tápelo.
Destornille y quite el tornillo (8) recuperando la arande-
la y el anillo purgadores (9).
Destornille y quite el tornillo (10).
Libere el carburador, equipado con filtro aire, del colec-
tor de aspiración.
Desmonte la pinza freno trasero, véase pág. 117
(DESMONTAJE PINZA FRENO TRASERO).
Fije la pinza freno en el bastidor vehículo.

Destornille y quite el tensor freno trasero (11).

Extraiga el cable freno soltándolo del todo.

ATENCION
Coloque un suplemento adecuado por debajo de la
rueda trasera, para impedir su bajada y el consiguien-
te empuje de la caja-filtro aire sobre el bastidor.
Destornille y quite el tornillo inferior amortiguador (12)
equipado con arandela.
Par de apriete tornillo: 25 Nm (2,5 kgm).
Gire el amortiguador y fíjelo al bastidor.

Carefully read page 7 (GENERAL SAFETY RULES).
Position the vehicle on the centre stand.
Remove the rear part of the fairing, see p. 39 (REMOV-
ING THE REAR PART OF THE FAIRING).
Remove the inspection covers, see p. 41 (REMOVING
THE RIGHT AND LEFT INSPECTION COVERS).
Remove the crash helmet compartment, see p. 49 (RE-
MOVING THE CRASH HELMET COMPARTMENT
complete with saddle).
Withdraw the spark plug cap.
Disconnect the electric connectors of the starter (1)
and of the CDI (2) and (3).
Open the ring (4) as much as necessary and release
the wires of the electric connectors (2) and (3).
Loosen the intake manifold clamp screw (5).

Wash your hands carefully after handling the oil. Do
not dispose of the oil in the environment.
Drain the 2 stroke oil tank (6) completely, see p. 63 (2
STROKE OIL TANK - DRAINING).
Disconnect the filter (7) from the 2 stroke oil tank (6).

Upon reassembly, fill the tank and bleed the 2 stroke
oil, see p. 65 (BLEEDING THE 2 STROKE OIL TANK).
Disconnect the 2 stroke oil delivery pipe from the car-
burettor and plug it.
Unscrew and remove the screw (8), taking the washer
and the breather pipe ring (9).
Unscrew and remove the screw (10).
Release the carburettor together with the air cleaner
from the intake manifold.
Remove the rear brake caliper, see p. 117 (REMOV-
ING THE REAR BRAKE CALIPER).
Fix the brake caliper onto the vehicle frame.

Unscrew and remove the rear brake adjuster (11).

Withdraw the brake cable, releasing it completely.

Put a proper shim under the rear wheel, to prevent it
from lowering and consequently pushing the air
cleaner casing on the frame.
Unscrew and remove the shock absorber lower screw
(12), complete with washer.
Screw driving torque: 25 Nm (2.5 kgm).
Rotate the shock absorber and fix it to the frame.
