IMPORTANTE
Antes de actuar, compruebe el fun-
cionamiento del mando acelerador, véase pág. 33 (COM-
PROBACION FUNCIONAMIENTO MANDO ACELERA-
DOR).
El mando acelerador debe tener un juego de unos 2-3
mm, que se pueden medir en la manecilla.
Para ajustar el juego:
Coloque el vehículo sobre el caballete central.
Extraiga el elemento de protección (1).
Afloje la tuerca (2).
Actúe sobre el regulador manecilla (3).
Al término del ajuste:
Apriete la tuerca (2), bloqueando el regulador (3) e ins-
tale el elemento de protección (1).
Si con el regulador manecilla (3) no se obtiene el juego in-
dicado, prosiga operando sobre el regulador carburador
(2).
Para acceder al regulador carburador:
Desmonte parcialmente el vano portacasco, véase
pág. 49 (DESMONTAJE VANO PORTACASCO equi-
pado con sillín).
Para el ajuste:
IMPORTANTE
No intervenga en el elemento de
protección cable arranque en frío (4).
Extraiga el elemento de protección (5).
Afloje la tuerca (6).
Actúe sobre el regulador carburador (7).
Al término del ajuste:
Apriete la tuerca (6), bloqueando el regulador (7) e ins-
tale el elemento de protección (5).

PELIGRO
Una vez finalizado el ajuste, compruebe que la rota-
ción del manillar no modifique el ralentí del motor y
que el puño de gas, una vez soltado, regrese suave y
automáticamente a la posición de reposo.

NOTE
Before carrying out any operation, check the
correct functioning of the accelerator control, see p. 33
(CHECKING THE OPERATION OF THE ACCELERA-
TOR CONTROL).
The ideal slack of the accelerator control should be ap-
proximately 2-3 mm and can be measured on the throttle
grip.
To adjust the slack, proceed as follows:
Position the vehicle on the centre stand.
Withdraw the protection element (1).
Loosen the nut (2).
Act on the throttle grip adjuster (3).
After the adjustment:
Tighten the nut (2), locking the adjuster (3) and put
back the protection element (1).
If the prescribed slack cannot be obtained by means of the
throttle grip adjuster (3), act on the carburettor adjuster
(2).
To reach the carburettor adjuster:
Partially remove the crash helmet compartment, see p.
49 (REMOVING THE CRASH HELMET COMPART-
MENT complete with saddle).
For the adjustment:
NOTE
Do not tamper with the protection element of the
cold start cable (4).
Withdraw the protection element (5).
Loosen the nut (6).
Act on the carburettor adjuster (7).
After the adjustment:
Tighten the nut (6), locking the adjuster (7) and put
back the protection element (5).

After the adjustment, make sure that the rotation of
the handlebar does not modify the engine idle speed
and that the throttle grip returns smoothly and auto-
matically to its original position after being released.
