ATENCION
Durante el desmontaje ponga cuidado en no dañar los
tubos, el disco y las pastillas del freno.
Para desmontar la rueda delantera actúe de la siguiente
manera:
Coloque el vehículo sobre el caballete central.

PELIGRO
Coloque un soporte por debajo del vehículo, de ma-
nera que la rueda delantera tenga espacio suficiente
para moverse libremente y para evitar que el vehículo
caiga.
Saque la pinza del freno ,véase pág. 115 (DESMON-
TAJE PINZA FRENO DELANTERO).
Bloquee el eje de la rueda (1) con una llave hexagonal.
Desenrosque y quite la tuerca (2) guardando la aran-
dela.
Afloje los dos tornillos de la brida del eje de la rueda
(3).
Empuje el eje de la rueda (1), actuando, con cuidado,
sobre la extremidad roscada y utilizando un martillo de
goma si es necesario.
IMPORTANTE
Controle la disposición del cable
transmisión cuentakilómetros (4) y del distanciador (5),
para volver a instalarlos correctamente.
Aguante la rueda delantera y extraiga manualmente el
eje de la rueda.
Guarde el distanciador (5).
Extraiga la rueda.
Desconecte el cable de transmisión taquímetro/ cuen-
takilómetros (4).

Antes de la instalación controle la integridad y, si es
necesario, sustituya:
– el distanciador (5);
– los cojinetes (6);
– la transmisión/cuentakilómetros (4);
– el distanciador (7);
– el disco freno (8), (espesor mínimo 3 mm);
– el eje rueda (1);
Controle además el desgaste de las zapatas del freno,
véase pág. 119 (COMPROBACION DESGASTE PAS-
TILLAS).

While disassembling the wheel, be careful not to dam-
age the brake pipe, the disc and the pads.
To disassemble the front wheel, proceed as follows:
Position the vehicle on the centre stand.

Place a support under the vehicle, so that the front
wheel has enough space to move and the vehicle can-
not fall down.
Remove the brake caliper ,see p. 115 (REMOVING
THE FRONT BRAKE CALIPER).
Lock the wheel pin (1) by means of an hexagon span-
ner.
Unscrew and remove the nut (2), taking the washer.
Loosen the two screws of the wheel pin clamp (3).
Push the wheel pin (1), by carefully acting on the
threaded end and using a rubber hammer if necessary.
NOTE
Check the arrangement of the speedometer
drive (4) and of the spacer ring (5), in order to be able to
reassemble them correctly.
Support the front wheel and extract the wheel pin man-
ually.
Take the spacer ring (5).
Remove the wheel.
Disconnect the odometer control (4).

Before reassembly, check the soundness of the follow-
ing elements and if necessary change them:
– spacer (5);
– bearings (6);
– speedometer control (4);
– spacer (7);
– brake disc (8), (minimum thickness 3 mm);
– wheel pin (1).
Further, check the brake pad wear, see p. 119
(CHECKING WEAR OF THE BRAKE PADS).
