(3) Attaching hose clamp. Lightly Lubricate inside of
clamp to prevent hose damage.
Crush hose clamp 2 as shown to tighten the hose
securely.
Do not reuse hose clamp. Be sure to
use new one.
Do not crush hose clamp too much, or the
hose may be damaged.
9. Attach the following parts.
Attach air hose ass'y using collar 2, nipple plate 3
(1)
and bolt 4 in this order.
2）Installation of Air Rail
1. Install air rail ass'y to cylinder head, and secure with bolts.
When installing air rail ass'y, be careful of
orientation of disc spring 1. Installing the
part in wrong orientation can cause squirt
of fuel. Refer to "Injector Assembling
Diagram" in page 4-23.
・Set air injector with coupler side directing to
port side of engine.
・Check that injectors are free from waste textile
and other dirt before installing.
・Install air rail ass'y on the cylinder head
horizontally, and tighten all bolts evenly.
