Install a PCI Expansion Card

Perform the following steps to install a PCI expansion card (refer to

2. Remove the EMI shield from the PCI slot you wish to populate.
3. Fully seat the card into the slot, pushing down with your thumbs evenly on both sides of the
card.
4. Finish by using a screw to secure the top of the card shield to the chassis. The PCI slot
shields protect the node board and its components from EMI and aid in proper ventilation, so
make sure there is always an EMI shield covering each unused slot.
