Explanation of Jumper Pins
Jumper pad JBT1 (refer to
passwords). Instead of pins, this jumper consists of contact pads to prevent you from accidentally
clearing the contents of CMOS memory. To clear CMOS memory:
1.
Power down the system and unplug the power cords.
Caution: Do not use the PW_ON connector to clear CMOS memory. Using the PW_ON
!
connector to clear CMOS memory may damage the equipment.
2. Short the JBT1 pads with a metal object such as a small screwdriver.
3. Remove the screwdriver or shorting device.
4. Reconnect the power cords and power on the system.
