General information

The IBM® Netfinity® 6000R server is a high-performance
server with the capability of microprocessor upgrade to a
symmetric multiprocessing (SMP) server. It is ideally suited
for networking environments that require superior micropro-
cessor performance, efficient memory management, flexibil-
ity, and large amounts of reliable data storage.
Performance, ease of use, reliability, and expansion capabil-
ities were key considerations during the design of the server.
These design features make it possible for you to customize
the system hardware to meet your needs today, while pro-
viding flexible expansion capabilities for the future.
The IBM 6000R server comes with a three-year limited war-
