1. Click Switch Status. The Switch Status Page opens.

The Switch Status Page contains the following fields:
System Name – Defines the user-defined device name. The field may contain 0-160 characters.
System Location – Defines the location where the system is currently running. The field may
contain 0-160 characters.
System Contact – Defines the name of the contact person. The field may contain 0-160 characters.
System Object ID – Displays the vendor's authoritative identification of the network management
subsystem contained in the entity.
Date – Displays the current date.
Local Time – Displays the Local time.
System Up Time – Displays the amount of time since the most recent device reset. The system
time is displayed in the following format: Days, Hours, Minutes, and Seconds. For example, 41
days, 2 hours, 22 minutes and 15 seconds.
Idle Timeout (Min) – Indicates the amount of time (minutes) that elapses before an idle station is
timed out. Idle stations that are timed out must login to the system. The field range is 5 - 30
minutes. The field default value is 10 minutes.
