1. Click Advanced > Spanning Tree > STP. The Spanning Tree Page opens:

The Spanning Tree Page contains the following fields:
Spanning Tree State – Indicates whether STP is enabled on the device. The possible field values
are:
Enable – Enables STP on the device.
Disable – Disables STP on the device. This is the default mode.
STP Operation Mode – Indicates Spanning Tree operation mode. The possible fields are:
Classic STP – Indicates that Classic STP is currently enabled on the device.
Rapid STP (RSTP) – Indicates that RSTP is currently enabled on the device.
Priority – Specifies the bridge priority value. When switches or bridges are running STP, each is
assigned a priority. After exchanging BPDUs, the device with the lowest priority value becomes the
Root Bridge. The default value is 32768.
Hello Time (1-10) – Specifies the device Hello Time. The Hello Time indicates the amount of time
in seconds a Root The device waits between configuration messages. The default is 2 seconds.
