In addition to the fields in the SNMP Users Page, the Modify Users Page contains the
following additional fields:
– Password – Defines the password for the group member.
– Authentication Key – Defines the HMAC-MD5-96 or HMAC-SHA-96 authentication level. The
authentication and privacy keys are entered to define the authentication key. If only authentication
is required, 16 bytes are defined. If both privacy and authentication are required, 32 bytes are
defined. Each byte in hexadecimal character strings is two hexadecimal digits. Each byte can be
separated by a period or a colon.
– Privacy Key (16 Hexa Chars) – Defines the privacy key (LSB). If only authentication is required,
20 bytes are defined. If both privacy and authentication are required, 36 bytes redefined. Each byte
in hexadecimal character strings is two hexadecimal digits. Each byte can be separated by a period
or colon.
