Comb Synth

Comb Synth
The Comb Synth is a one-oscillator analog synth model, but with a comb filter
instead of a standard filter. It also includes pulse width modulation, filter and
amplitude ADSR envelopes, and a routable LFO.
Oscillator
Frequency
+/- 24. This sets the coarse tuning of the oscillator over a four-octave range, in half-
steps.
Waveform
Sawtooth, Pulse, Triangle. This selects the shape of the oscillator. If Pulse is
selected, the Pulse Width control, below, sets the width of the pulse.
Pulse Width
0.0-100.0. This sets the width of the pulse waveform, as a percentage of the full
waveform cycle. 50.0 produces a square wave, smaller amounts produce a
waveform with a shorter "up" time, and greater amounts produce a waveform
with a longer "up" time, as shown below. Pulse width can also be modulated via
the LFO.
Pulse Width
Level
0-100. This controls the output level of the oscillator. You can use this to balance the
level of the oscillator with that of the noise generator.
