Retrieving Internal Code Changes (Hardware Management Console)
1 Selecting the options
From Hardware Management Console Workplace
panel.
1. Open Console Actions from the Views
area
2. Open Change Console Internal Code
from the Console Actions Work Area
2 Retrieving the changes
The Change Console Internal Code panel displays.
1. Select Retrieve internal code changes
from the menu.
2. Select OK.
3 Selecting a source
The Retrieve Internal Code Changes panel
displays.
1. Select Retrieve the changes from the
optical cartridge from the menu.
2. Select OK.
4 Inserting the optical cartridge
Skip this step if you are retrieving from the (IBM
support system).
The Insert Optical Cartridge panel displays.
1. Insert the optical cartridge.
2. Select OK.
5 Selecting the changes
The Select Internal Code Changes panel displays.
1. Select All internal code changes from the
menu.
2. Select OK.
Note: If you have performed "Enabling Hardware
Management Console Services" on page
6-6 to established a IBM support
connection you can select Retrieve the
changes from IBM support system and
follow the instruction on the panels.
