Emulated I/O Configuration
Installation complete if not configuring emulated I/O
1 Beginning the procedure
1. Before you can continue you must
configure the Emulated I/O adapters to the
operating system.
2. Open Console Actions from the Views
area
3. Open MPTS Configuration from the
Console Actions Work Area
4. Select Configure from the Multi-Protocol
Transport Service panel.
5. Select LAN adapters and protocols only,
from the Configure panel.
6. Select Configure.
7. Use the Emulated Input/Output Subsystem
User's Guide and Reference GC38-0610 to
configure the emulated I/O to the
customers requirements before continuing.
Note: Record the Adapter number displayed in
front of the protocols you just added to the current
configuration and the plug location (LGxx) of the
adapter you will need it later in this publication
when connecting cables.
