2 Completing the operation
Read the notes that follow before proceeding.
Note: Follow the instructions on the panels to
complete the operation.
If no errors are detected, the following will
happen.
A message may display stating "the internal
code changes were installed and activated
as requested." Select OK to close the
window. Press Esc until the Setup
Installation Options panel is displayed.
Select End set up. If no message displays
double click on System Information from
the Change Management Tasks area to
see that the code changes were installed..
OR
Your Support Element may re-initialize
several times. If this happens, wait until the
Support Element Workplace panel displays
and The Support Element has re-initialized.
When complete, go to "External channel
cables" on page 6-31.
If errors are detected during this procedure,
the Hardware Messages icon will be
flashing. Correct the problem (see The
Hardware Messages icon on page 5-17,
then retry this procedure.
When complete, go to "Internal DASD Subsystem
Configuration" on page 7-1
