Chapter 6. Completing the Installation
Note: If more than one Hardware Management Console is being used, one
Installation Configuration on the Hardware Management Console
1 Before you continue
Have you upgraded or replaced an existing
Hardware Management Console?
NO, skip this step
YES perform the following step
Ensure you have powered on the Hardware
Management Console with the Save/Restore
diskette P/N 51H9495 in the "A" drive.
The Save/Restore panel is displayed
1. Press F8 to start the restore
2. You need the Customer Save diskette for
the Hardware Management Console you
are working on.
3. When the restore is complete press and
hold the CTLT key, ALT key and DEL key
to restart the Hardware Management
Console.
4. Repeat this step for each upgraded or
replacement Hardware Management
Console.

Hardware Management Console should be designated the focal point,
preferably one with a modem attached.
