Cutting Deck

Do not start the engine and engage the PTO switch when the PTO
driveshaft is disconnected from the cutting deck. If you start the
engine and the PTO shaft is allowed to rotate, serious personal injury
and machine damage could result.
If the PTO driveshaft is disconnected from the cutting deck,
disconnect the PTO electric clutch electrical connector.
Do not work on the cutting deck or lift arms with the engine running.
Always shut off the engine and remove the key from the key switch
before working on the cutting deck.
Refer to specific Cutting Unit Operator's Manual for cutting deck removal and
installation procedure.
