Check resistance of engine speed sensor
a. Check resistance between
terminals 1 and 2.
Normal resistance: 860 Ω ± 20% (at normal temperature)
Replace engine speed sensor

Check engine speed sensor circuit
a. Disconnect ECM connector E-035.
b. Check wire harness between engine speed sensor
connector terminals and ECM connector terminals.
Check for Open
