When the Basic model QCPU is used, selection of CPU No.4 is not allowed since the maximum
number of mountable CPU modules is 3.
When using an intelligent function module of function version A with the Basic model QCPU or
High Performance model QCPU, set the control CPU to CPU No.1.
The Basic model QCPU cannot be set as a control CPU of AnS series I/O modules and special
function modules.
When using AnS series I/O modules and/or special function modules with the High Performance
model QCPU, set the control CPU to the same High Performance model QCPU.

In Type of the <<I/O assignment setting>> tab,
select "CPU (Empty)" for the slot to which no
CPU module is mounted.
Click the Detail setting button to open the
"Detail setting" screen.
Control CPU (setup required)
Select a control CPU (CPU No.1 to 4) for
each slot. Note 17.2
This cannot be set for intelligent function
