5.3 Settings and Procedures before Operation

Procedures for operation
Start up the C Controller module.
On the C Controller setting utility, make system setting
necessary to use the C Controller module.
Perform I/O assignment of the main base unit and
extension base unit.
Perform the switch setting and detail setting of each
module.
Write the set parameters from the <<Online operation>>
tab of the C Controller setting utility to the C Controller

module.
Reset the C Controller module with the RESET/SELECT
switch. (Resetting the module makes the written
parameters effective.)
Move the RUN/STOP/MODE switch of the C Controller
module from STOP to RUN, and check that the C
Controller module is in the RUN status (the RUN LED is
lit).
On the C Controller setting utility, check the operation
status (e.g. errors). (Module information, Event history,
Module monitor, system information, etc.)

Create and debug a user program using Tornado, and
register it to the C Controller module.
