Roll Pre-feeding

Check Before Pre-Feeding
The machine does a pre-feed control check:
! Immediately after the main power switch or operation switch is switched on.
! Immediately after the roll feeder drawer is closed.
! At the end of a copy job.
During the pre-feed check, the cutter moves to home position:
! The machine checks if the left or right cutter HP switch is ON.
! If the two cutter sensors are OFF, the machine moves the cutter to the left home
position. This makes sure that the spring-loaded paper holder opens to let paper feed.

The machine pre-feeds paper from each roll after the pre-feed check completes without
error. Pre-feeding is done for Roll 1 first.
