Rear differential:
Clean and install the drain plug (2) and washer before filling the rear differential with new lubricant
(Figure 10a-19, Page 10a-14). Tighten the drain plug to 96 in-lb (10.8 N·m). Use a funnel when filling the dif-
ferential through the lubricant level indicator hole (1). See Periodic Lubrication Schedule on page 10a-4.
Apply Loctite 567 to the threads of the level indicator plug and tighten to 21 ft-lb (28 N·m).
