5.2 General Safetry Instructions for Ground Connection/
Safety Circuit
DANGER:
The work described in this
chapter must only be carried
out by trained service
technicians.
DANGER:
Safety devices must not be
changed or bridged.
DANGER:
Before starting the work,
disconnect the dispenser from
the mains supply and close
the water tap.
DANGER:
When carrying out disassemblies
at the boiler, there is the danger
of being scalded by hot water (see
chap. 'Disassembly of the boiler').
DANGER:
After the repair work ensure
that the overflow tray (1) and
the overflow hose (2) are
mounted correctly. (Fig. 1)
DANGER:
When carrying out any kind of
work, ensure that the earth
connectors are mounted
correctly in order to guarantee
faultfree ground connection.
DANGER:
All metal parts must be
connected with metal screws.
Beneath the screw head there
must be a lock washer. Fasten
the screws tightly (ground
connection).
WARNING:
The manufacturer cannot be
held liable or responsible
when other than original spare
parts are used for repair work.
WARNING:
Cable harnesses must not be
repaired, but must be replaced
completely.
WARNING:
When the front part has been
dismounted in the course of
repair processes, make sure
that the hose (1) is mounted
correctly into the outlet elbow
(2) when remounting it. (Fig. 2)
CAUTION:
In any case, observe the safety
instructions of each chapter.

CAUTION:
When the work has been
finished, always carry out a
functional test.
CAUTION:
Make sure that all earthed
conductor connections are
connected and fastened tightly.
Ground connections are located at:
-
the housing cover (1x),
-
the right housing wall, (2x) at the top,
-
the left housing wall at the bottom,
-
the support of the safety thermostat
overflow,
-
the thermostat,
-
the fan,
-
the heating element,
-
the dry running protection
-
the power supply console, 2x
-
the plug for the pot carrier switch at the
right
-
the plug for heating plate connection at
the top.
